It's an automated Amazon scam call.

Saying he is calling from Optus, can tell my address and personal detail, saying a new server has been installed around my area and wants to check if my modem is compatible, then asking me my public IP address etc ... Once I ask him to tell me some more detail on the account then he hang up.

Hi, I received a call from this number, at the time the call was registered on the phone, I was busy working on a carpentry project, and I don't have this number on my contact list. Since then, I am trying to reach you, but my call is not answered. Saying: "the person you calling is not available now, please call later". I hope everything is okay. el

Got a call from this number they just hang up when I greeted them

Recorded message saying they will be taking money out of my account to pay for Prime, unless I press 1 to cancel.--- Don't press 1, just hang up and block the number

First call from 0400 058 612 Amazon saying $100 to be taken from account for items. Don’t do internet purchase and certainly don’t do Amazon.
Second call 0427 703 506 did not leave message.
Have blocked both numbers. So sick of these scammers.

Robot call saying something about my Amazon account being breached, funny I have never used Amazon, hanged up straight away.

Caller: The lady sounded to have an Indian accent

Automatic call saying it was Amazon prime and they were going to deduct $90 off from my account, said if I pressed 1 I could talk to someone to discontinue the account so I did then spoke to a woman that had an Indian accent, she claimed to be with prime Amazon when I asked who my name was extra she got angry asking how was she to know l, she said my number was connected to the account when I said I didn’t have an account and saying she sounded like a scam got even angrier telling me why did Ali answer if I thought that and hung up on me, makes me angry myself thinking if this was someone vulnerable they’d take advantage of them

I did not recognise so ignored. Tried to ring later to check for any automated recording. Engaged. I had previous scam call about a fake Amazon account which we don’t have and blocked the number. Now this is another number. After checking here you and others saying it is also Amazon Scam. Thank you. Will block again.

I answered without saying a word and they didn't have the balls to say anything and hung up without trying. What a wimpy!! The scammer got cold feet and hung up.

Grow some balls scammer and speak up so I can laugh at you at least or get a real job with some real skills so your family isn't ashamed of you.

Called my mobile at 2023-02-13 12:40 Mon, number not known so not answered, no voicemail message was left. That tells me all I need to know.

Recorded voice saying something about fees being taken out of my bank account, press 1 to cancel. I'm not even sure what the hell is amazon, computers ????
