Say that they are calling about your internet service and want to confirm some details. Very suspicious.

Got several missed calls from this number. When we tried to call them back, got a message saying the number was not connected.

A woman called and became quite irate when I told her I knew the call was a scam and I promptly hung up. She called back straight away claiming to have a Telstra ID and gave 085231927420 as the Telstra help line. I again hung up only to be immediately called back again. I didn't answer the third time!

That’s what happened to me. They phoned twice on the one day. Must be dodgy for sure. I have since blocked the number.

They said they were from Telstra and that my internet was going to be disconnected. When I told them I didn't have the internet, they hung up.

I asked to speak to the girls manager and got an Indian gentleman who claimed his name was Wayne Johnson. I managed to hold them on the line for 3 minutes...

Same, said they were Telstra and were going to disconnect my internet and would I like to know why, I said sure but I’m recording this phone call, they hung up

This number belongs to scammers pretending to be from Telstra. Be as filthy rude as you like to these idiots. it's pretty much the point where they stop. Otherwise they keep calling back.

The usual Telstra Tech? Somting wong with internet modem.
I am up to 4 calls from this number, they get my answering machine quick smart and hang up. and would you believe they dont leave a message.

this indian lady says she is from Telstra not even Gibberish words then telstra so i said ohh from telstra. she said yet maam your internet is about to be cut off for 5 - 6 months. i snickered ( as it was a new phrase for them) and then she stopped reading from her sheet and said why laugh i was like what she said why are you laughing. i said cos you are a liar and hung up.

the guy said there is a problem with the internet due to sites I visit. he asked if i watch Porn as it could be the reason and then told me a site he goes to watch.. said he lived in melbourne and wanted my address to come pleasure me.... he rang like 4 times. total scam...

Scam caller said that my internet would be disconnected 9 am tomorrow morning. "SAID" They were calling from Telstra and told me they knew that we had downloaded malicious material. To fix this they are disconnecting. I hung up sounded like the call was overseas with the breaks. some people just have nothing better to do.

It is interesting that so many people are affected by this bunch of ... callers. My wonder is how Telstra lets them continue to access their network?

2nd time from this number. I just pick up phone and hang up. Have now blocked this number. Husband spoke to them the other day and said they tried to tell him his internet was not working properly. I told him to don't give these people the time of day - big time scammers!!!

They wanted me to help with my internet as they noted something fishy.

In the end they abused me and hung up.

I am sick of the people who call from this number. It is NOT Telstra but they say it is. I have lost count of the number of calls, it must be more than 150! They always ask for someone who has not lived here for more than 10 years. About time they got a new phone book. Why doesn't someone do something to get rid of these pests? The do not call register is not worth the paper it is written on...a complete waste of time.

Same deal. Very kindly told an australian-accented guy last night who did the usual telstra plan bullsh*t, that cold calling is sh*t, and i was sad so could he please have some consideration and leave me alone. Took a full 5 minutes to get him off the phone in a civilised manner (at which point he hung up on me, of course). Today they've rung & hung up after an extended silence, 5 times in one day (so far - it's only 6.30pm). Going to do an all-time record ear-piercing BANCHEE scream right into their rude scammy little ear next time, waiting in glee. I wish their rest-of-life hearing luck.
