Caller: TELSTRA ABOUT NBN DROPING OUT

HE LEFT HIS NAME (MAX SMITH) JOB NUMBERS REFERANCE NUMBER, WHEN I CHECKED UP AND CALLED THE NUMBER IT WAS OUT OF SERVICE.
DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU OR FOLLOW INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO PUT A SHORT CUT ICON ON YOUR DESKTOP.

Taped message claiming to be from Department of Home Affairs or something like that. Didn't listen any further as is without a doubt a scam.

This caller called my mobile but hung up once I answered the call. Sounds dodgy!

Caller: Scam - claims to be from Telstra

He told me that my IP address was not secure and he was with Telstra and they have a duty to make sure our internet was secure and all internet in australia is with telstra and i must be confused with service providers not suppliers (FYI we have cable internet that is definitely not Telstra)....I kept telling him it was a load of rubbish and asking if I should call telstra and see what they say, I was being politely argumentative the whole time (several minutes) just to see what he'd do and he kept pushing and trying to convince me! Kept saying if I open my internet we can get a number to confirm (IP address I assume) and then he can prove he is legit....so so so dodgy

Sounded like overseas call centre.
Rang twice in an hour.
Claimed to be offering check up on my internet.
When I acted suspicious, he called me a "smart arse". Really sounds professional wouldn't you say.

Nuisance calls. The network that owns this number should disconnect them.

Caller: Call said he was from tech support Telstra

He told me that my IP address was no longer secure and how all my emails and all transactions were open. Told him to keep going and he was quiet happy to keep telling me how I could get hacked and I need him to help lock down the IP address. With that i lost interest in the game and told him I was a tech from Telstra. He rang back immediately and told me that me and my internet can go get F****d hahahaahha!!

Caller: he pretends to be from Telstra

He is calling me again tomorrow, 30-11-19. I pretended to have a computer problem. I wish someone could set a trap....to see where he is calling from and then lock him up...because I will have him on the phone for a loooong time....because I am "very stupid" with computers. I keep him on the line for hours because while he is talking to me, he is not ripping off other people. This person is a criminal

100% scammers. Quite enjoyable. DO NOT give them any information.
