Number called and also a text message received saying to call urgently need help. Called back various voices in the background asked who is this and then got called a crack whore ...time wasters

SCAM CALL message "Call back straight away, I need help" text message

Received text message late at night about “call me back ASAP I need urgent help”. SCAM- don’t call back!

Call back right away, I need urgent help. I was in bed when message came through so I didn't even look to see what it was. Anyone that should be messaging me would be in my phone and be identifiable. I came straight here to look it up. I deleted the message - no need to check any further. Karma will get this person in the end.

Got a text saying to call back as they need urgent help. No response to txt message.

“CALL BACK RIGHT AWAY,I NEED URGENT HELP “.....rang the number back and all I could hear were ppl talking and a woman screaming etc,I then rang the police to find out it’s all a scam!
Not great when you already suffer with PTSD from similar events!

Messaged my son saying call now need urgent help wouldn’t reply to txt asking who is this

My dad received a text from 0468 962 495 (something along the lines of 'call back asap. Need help urgently'). Thankfully he asked me if I recognised the number and Google gave me the rest. A YouTube video with the result of what you get if you call back is just a recorded message full of filthy comments, swearing and general rubbish. Very glad my father didn't have to hear that!
Obviously a stupid prank from some very immature, pathetic individuals with nothing better to do.
