I didn’t answer but if it is a debt collection agency like others have said then I think they are legit as Virgin Mobile threatened to get debt collectors onto me very recently about my final bill with them (they closed my account and I couldn’t pay my bill as I couldn’t log in anymore so I didn’t worry about it in the end).... be cautious still but it’s likely you owe someone money is what I’m saying ;) I just block their numbers as they won’t follow through for such a small amount but they have fun trying to scare people lol

Claims to be calling from Recovery Corporation. Indian accent. Asks for my details without giving any details about who they claim to represent. I've told them i am not prepared to volanteer my ID but they continue to call to harass.
They've asked for my email and I've told them,you've got my details already and will they send me written details. i am still waitting. They've said they've sent me a letter to respond to. They haven't.
I got this number by calling *10# after one of their calls and the fact that it's not a land based phone number in Australia adds to my already huge suspicion about them. I'm pretty sure it's from an autodialler overseas, connected through a false mobile number here.
They do sound fairly legit in their approach. No debt recovery company calls to ask for ID without identifying who they represent first.
They're full of lies and ID fishing. Be very wary.
