calls and hangs up after you say hello

She rang me and said she was from a company called AGS and asking me if I wanted to make more money or have I been wanting to trade. The minute I spoke and said "who are.." .. She hung up. Is this the scam that they record your voice and use it to activate accounts?

Bloody nuisance call. If this number rings your phone, block it immediately!

My Google Pixel phone warned me this was a spam caller. Didn't answer, but I tried to call back via my desk phone and received an engaged signal.

Woman with terrible english said I had been in a motor vechile accident recently and I needed to confirm my details, when asked who is calling and how did you get my number hung up then 3 hours later rang again...number blocked

Annoying! Keep ringing. When I answered once to see who the irrirating person could be they didn't answer! BLOCK THEM!!!!

Aargh! I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognise but my voicemail isn't working so took a chance. I said hello, she said Hello, I said Hello again & she hung up! Kicking myself right now!

Said from AGS and offered tax free income. I said I wasn’t interested and hung up. Tax free income is dodgy AF

Received a call from this number today. I don't say hello to any number I don't know I wait for the caller to speak first. This female caller asked for a male name and said to me"clearly your not..." (The name she asked for). When I said no, that person insist here ATM she quickly ended the call with I will try again later. I think she muttered her name was Danni. I cannot wait for her to call beak

Troll, called my number but got my wife. Her name was Danny apparently but was vague and didn't want to answer questions...

says she wanted to teach me all about foreign exchange, then hung up when I asked where she got my number from

I tried to return missed call from the number --- I attempted to call three times, but it dropped out each time before first ring... not wanting return calls?...hmmm, makes you wonder

Scam call. Full mailbox excuse, so cannot leave a message. Pity.

wants to sell me something I dont want... then gets dirty when I tell her I'm on the Do Not Call list and that the call is recorded so she will personally get a Fine if she calls me again.

I called back number 0466 330 780 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.
