SCAM CALL

Called today saying he was from the Aus Gov Health Department and I was getting a $7600 grant due to the Bushfires and Coronavirus. When he asked for my email i told him that he should have it already and to repeat back to me and I will confirm. He hung up very quickly

Same call as other reported offering a grant in the amount of $7000 odd dollars.

He called and said government giving 7000 dollars , he asked for the details and when I told him you already should have my details as you are from government, he hung up the phone .

Don’t entertain these scammers.

Wanted personal details so the government would give me $7000 today because of the bushfires and the virus. Did not say what government department he was from.

Caller: Said his name was Brendan

Rang on behalf of act health dept say due to corona virus government was giving me $7600 and I need to go to the post office ..!!!!! Once there produce photo I’d and bank details...!!! Also left a landline no (02) 6100 8636..!!! And sounded Indian..!!!!

Caller: On behalf of a company? and his accent - was definitely not Australian, more like an Indian accent.

Got a phone call from a guy today on this mobile number who rang and is "offering $7,000 if I give him my details such as bank account details". He went on to say if I was in front paying my bills the government would give me the $7,000 because of the Coronavirus.

He was rude and aggressive. Be careful, report him and block the number.
