The people who phoned my father from (08) 8121 5958 on 14 Feb 2025 and 15 Feb 2025, and then from a mobile 0485 932 052 (the mobile person / bot purporting to be "Sam Smith") have persisted and have changed their email address from cybersecuresolns @ gmail.com to support @ ihelp24hrs.org. They took AUD 649.99, installed a remote desktop on his Macbook and spent over an hour in it over four phone calls to him, "removing trojans". They have notified my father about the change of email today and say they are having trouble with their phone system. The writer was "John Miller". Keep an eye on the people around you and help them if they are getting these sorts of calls and emails.

This number was used by someone calling himself "Sam Smith", in cahoots with another caller from (08) 8121 5958. Together they spent over an hour on the phone over two days (four calls in total - two related to each number), infiltrating my elderly NESB father's machine and scamming him of 649.99 to "remove trojans" from his Mac. Very unfortunate. Filth.
