Paypal Australia posted about 3 months ago. This is a fraud number aiming to steal your personal identification in order to gain access to your paypal account, a process known as "Smishing" when done via SMS.
Paypal will NEVER contact you on any number aside from the ones listed on their official site ( https://www.paypal.com/au/ )
Anyone claiming otherwise is not affiliated in any manner with PayPal, Inc.
