Caller: scammer / robot

I got a call from 0457 623 862 today at about 9am with a pre-recorded robo call telling me there was a credit card payment taken from my card and if I wanted to dispute it I should press 1 or if I wanted to talk to an operator press 9. I did not press anything and it hung up after a few seconds. This is an old scam trying to get you to give them your CC number as a 'verification' that it is your card. I called the number and it said the mobile phone is switched off or not in a mobile phone area. This actually means the number has been hijacked and disconnected and the scammers are spoofing the number.

I've had about ten of these calls, all from different numbers. The first time I was alarmed until I realised I don't have a Master Card and I have never purchased anything from Ebay or Amazon.
