Caller: text message from 0457 552 222

We checked with Telstra who confirmed we did not owe the $96.33 or any money. Don't be fooled if they know your first name, they knew mine. I have also just had a phone call from them (no caller ID) with a recorded message, purporting to be from Telstra asking me to confirm my name and then asked for my date of birth. I hung up before giving them my date of birth or any other information. This is a scam!!!!!

same as the others re this number asking for over $620. Fortunately neither of my mobile or home bills are anywhere near that so I took it as a scam - which it is!!

This number tried to scam me by suggesting I had an overdue bill ( Telstra ), but when I tried to call it, I could not connect. Not only are they wasting my time, but their own.

Says they’re Telstra and I have an over due bill and my internet will be cut off. I’m not even with Telstra and when I called them out they claimed it had been handed over to them. Hung up and now they’re sending me msgs. Net is still connected though. Scam

Yes, I received the same text message to my company work phone claiming to be Telstra regarding overdue account. It is a scam.
