Try to get personal information but refuse to tell you who they are. Chasing a debt for someone else apparently but won't take a polite no for an answer.

Continue to call me asking me to clarify personal details (which I refuse to do when getting called from some unknown mobile number). I have no accounts with Energy Australia.

They have on and off been ringing me for about 12 months? My telco says change my number, yeah right. I just ignore them and check the numbers here as stated previously Energy Australia Financial Services, I don't have an account with them. And, I am no stupid enough to hand out personal information over the phone to somebody I don't do business with!

Again likewise the above comment I received a call today calling "on behalf of Energy Australia" fishing for personal information - D.O.B and address etc.

They said I had emailed regarding a private matter. I do not have an account with Energy Australia however and they hung up when this was found out by them.

I have been called up to twice a day by those scammers. They are using a number of mobile phone and landline.
They are fishing for personal information like DOB or postal address saying they are calling on behalf of Energy Australia.

I have called Energy Australia and my account was perfectly fine.

I have reported the matter to scamwatch
