You don't need to have a debt. These arseholes are chasing the ex son-in-law and have harassed me for over 2 years. I answered their first call because i didn'tknow better - All they wanted were my details and wouldn't te'll me any info first. I told them to send me a letter of demand including details of my contract via registered mail and they wanted my address. - "go f*ck yourself scammer!"

Called and left a voice mail that just sounded like wind being blown into the phone. Called back and got an automated voice and was put on hold, talked to Janelle (?) Couldn't quite understand her, she wouldn't tell me the company name and asked if I knew a name I'd never heard of, when I said no she said oh ok ill take you off our calling list. Weirdest interaction ever.

Credit Card Debt is an unsecured loan and does not have to paid back. Including when going into bankruptcy. Debt collector agencies buy debt at a reduced amount ( about a third and sometimes less) and then require you to pay the full amount with interest sometimes doubling the debt. If they go outside debt collection legislation by contacting your friend on Facebook and Linkedin and family then go to a solicitor and have a complaint drawn up for harassment for about $360 and have it delivered to them and advise the financial insuitation they have purchased the loan from and send the advice to ACCC and Asic as a complaint and harassment and possible further action. It works. !

Caller: Credit Corp and then posing as Baycorp

Just want your date of birth, won’t send apparent bill to current address when asked repeatedly, when you officially ask bout debt they claim u have, but won’t tell you anything without date of birth, then state your credit will be affected when your still unsure of what debt and promise to send bill, then attach a previous seeking creditor to acquire info they were first unable to obtain.
They don’t appear trustworthy, be cautious in your dealings I am weary of both creditors. Always sound like they are in a call centre not official business place.

Ring from mobiles, interstate numbers. Just don’t answer any number unrecognised and these pieces of shut will eventually move onto some other poor soul. There is a special place in hell for these scum sucking ice holes...Reported them anyway.
