phone rings - answer - they hang up

From a solar rebate company. Tried to convince me that we had spoken a few days ago and I had requested a solar roof inspection. Am always getting the solar calls but always fob them off . Never made an appointment. Scam way to get a solar service in.

called left no message

Indian man saying he was doing a 30 second survey. Asked if I though the cost of living was too high in NSW, informed I didn't live in NSW. Asked if I thought I'd be able to pay off my rent by 65. What I did for work and if my yearly salary was around the average.

A very polite Nigerian prince. I'm waiting on a deposit in my bank account for $1 billion dollars - so glad I picked up!

Caller: Six OClock Charlie

I think Five OClock Charlie was a character on that TV series MASH. This call came in bang on Six OClock just as the news headlines were being read. No message. Blocked.

Called my landline, hung up and did not leave a message, possible scam.

A man with an Indian sounding accent called to talk about my "mortgage". When I said that I didn't have a mortgage he asked if it was all paid off. To which I replied that I never had a mortgage. He hung up.

Caller: Inform group

Scammer from Sydney Elizabeth Street Sydney . Asked the person for the time on their watch and they gave me the wrong time. They were from Indian Call Centre. Inform group was the name of the business sale claiming to be from. Big time Scammer block the number.

I answered, nothing from them and they hung up. I've blocked, but I'm sure I'll get calls from other numbers now

Answered a call from this number and the caller said answer a 30 second survey, answer yes/no, Before they could continue I asked how they got hold of the number they rang? I only understood Inform/Australia Told them I would continue with the called and they hung up.

Caller: voice accented,

I got, "HELLO. Hello".

I held phone to TV speaker and yelled "Sergeant Tompson, trace this one, it's them"

He hung up.

Did not answer their call due to warning: Suspected Spam. Called them back but went to voicemail.

Scam. Please block

I called them back Optus said this number has been disconnected 0451 629 340

Caller: Gary Anderson

Called me trying to book in a service for solar panel quote. I googled the number and come to this page and knew he was a scammer. I told him he doesn't sound like a Gary Anderson he went quiet, I than told him this is the part where you hang up.

Its getting beyond a joke with these scammers
