Claimed to be from computer maintenance department “windows” They didn’t like it when I asked for customer reference number or told them that I’d upgraded from windows to sliding doors, and that I traded my Apple Mac for and orange Mc
They got very abusive and hung up

Fortunately I was nowhere near the phone, but then I would have let it ring out being “unavailable “. Getting sick of these foreign scammers, maybe, just maybe some government regulator will take a positive move and rid us of these pests.......

Scampers with computer "errors" got transferred to a supervisor when I demanded answers to my questions. Was then repeatedly called 10 times, shouted at. Eventually kept my line open until I could Barr the number.

Caller: Female with accent, didn't catch her name Have had several calls from this number, she asked to give the phone to 'my mummy or daddy' I told her I was an adult and she hung up.
3 minutes later, phone call from the same number, but a different lady. She told me she was from the Microsoft Windows technical department and that I had a virus on my computer. I told her my computer is fine and she yelled at me "ARE YOU A COMPUTER TECHNICIAN?! HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?!" Led her on for a while and then she hung up on me.

Caller: From some technical department - talked so fast with accent - couldn't understand him. Told me I had a computer problem they could help me with. Told him I didn't have a computer. He kept going. Told him again I didn't have a computer. He got quite agitated. I told him to stop yelling at me. And he then yelled that he wasn't yelling at me. I told him again that I didn't have a computer. He called me a liar. Technically I wasn't lying as I don't have a computer - I have 7. When he asked me why I was lying was when I hung up. It's a joy to confound these people .... does that make me evil?

Caller: Male with accent Saying he was from the tec dept of windows. Went on and on then gave me a very long number with letters. When I said I would check with my computer repairman he didn't like that at all and said my computer tec man would not know what I am talking about. In the end I told him that we had night shift workers in the house and these calls were waking them over and over. I then hung up.
