Caller: Male scammer with thick Indian accent Today I was subject to a serious scam via mobile number 0450 891 667. I was contacted on my mobile number by a male with a thick Indian accent advising me that he worked for VISA and my credit card had been flagged as being fraudulently used and $10000 had been deducted. He asked if I had any knowledge of this transaction and if not would I like the money refunded. He then asked me for my name and date of birth and my banking details including BSB and account number.
BE AWARE THIS IS A SERIOUS SCAM.
