Number has called twice, doesn't leave a message

Caller: National Support Centre

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from National Support Centre advising they were calling regarding some Government Initiative. Asked me a bunch of questions regarding mine/my partner’s finances. Gave her some false responses and she said I didn’t qualify for the deal. Said they would call me in 6-12 months time to check whether I qualify then. Blocked the number.

Google Phone showed "suspected spam call" when ringing.

I called back number 0449 956 224 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Missed a video call, which seemed weird and then saw other posts re being a spam number

Claim to be “Information Network Australia” and the callers are all dumbasses.

The first one didn’t realise it went to voicemail and left one of her going “hello?...” for a whole minute.

The second had a guy try to find out my age as a “reason to take me off the list” and when I refused and said he should be creative he replied “I can’t be creative why do you think I have this job?”

Told her I was working then she claimed she called the wrong number??? and hung up.

Caller: Tax incentive scam

Asked him what the name of the incentive was so I could google it, he said “there are too many to find it” and dodged the question. Clearly a scam told him i am in my 20’s with 14 investment properties and zero mortgage on them all. Of course, I qualified for the help haha bad scams

It is not necessary to be rude on the phone. It's your job to present your company you work for in a respectful manner. Is it not? Because of this, I would recommend that you do not pick up this number.

Called back on work landline, did not get through just counted through numbers
