SCAM ALERT. Caller sounds like a trustworthy 70 year old Australian grandmother and says "I am calling from the Sheffield Group. Did you enter an on-line competition to win a Samsung 6 or $500 ? I said "Did I?" She hung up. This number returns to a message "OPTUS advises this number has been disconnected" I do not enter on-line ocmpetitions and on DO NOT CALL register. Only Sheffield Group I can find in Australia have no knowledge. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL DETAILS TO 0448 687 017

Good old Downie from fawkner cemetary strikes again

Received multiple calls from this and similar number's ( various last 3 digits). Answered to dead air. Very annoyed grrr. Called them back to get " This Optus number is disconnected"

I received a call from this number on 19 April 2017. I didn't answer it.
I called back and the same response as detailed in other complaints....Optus advises that the number is disconnected.

Just got a call from this number, when I rung back Optus regrets this number is disconnected

annoying tried to block several times but they keep getting through

I had the same call from 0448 687 017 today and called back and it was the Optus disconnection warning

Sheffield group

Just had a call from this number and after reading these posts have put the number into my phones reject call list.

I received a hang up call from 0448 687 017 and previously 0448 687 256. Will block both after looking up both numbers

Got calls from 0448 687 017 & 0439 687 622, sick of this kind of silent calls. How do I stop them from calling me???
