Scam. Pretending to be debt collector. Had real details of an account that no longer exists and a phone number on that account. Included links for making "payment".

June 2026 scam pretending to be debt collector for energy bill. spotted it as fake because: a) flagged as spam 2) incorrect number for the debt collection company was included. recort it to SCAMWATCH.gov.au as well as here, so the score for this number stays BAD

Caller: 0447 368 978 Like others, have received a mix of recoveriescorp and AGL account messages with suspicious links I haven't clicked on. I called AGL to confirm and was informed this is a scam.

Caller: Scam Keep calling have double checked I owe nothing to Telstra even went to the highest department which is there collections even they said never had account with number they sending me
