Message stating my westpac access had been limited with a link (not on westpac domain) to restore access. Clearly a scam, but they also included legitimate westpac number

Exactly as the previous poster: text message from this number saying access to my Westpac account had been suspended & directing me to a bogus website but legit Westpac 1300 number. Since I don’t currently have a Westpac account, nor have I *ever* had Westpac account, I’m guessing this a phishing scam.

Same message as the posts above, although they are representing NAB for me (who I’m not with). I guess they’ve changed their web address as the WESTPAC one must’ve been taken down.

Received text same as above but from NAB rather than Westpac. I’ve never had a NAB account in my life. I’ve reported to scan watch and block number!

Scam number - sent a text purporting to be from NAB - I do not have a NAB account

Same as others but says it's for NAB online access (I have never been a NAB customer).

I also had the same SMS, and don't have a Westpac account, so I rang Westpac's head office and they verify this is a scam and gave me the phone number to their Hoax line which is 049713032 to sent them a copy of the text message as it has a mobile number above the text.

Same as others except for NAB. Had text saying acc limited with dodgy link but legitimate NAB phone number. Avoid these guys!

Text from Westpac with regards to access to my account. I have never had a Westpac account. Do not respond to this text. Delete and inform Scam Watch. Something should be done to prevent people being deceived by this type of scam.

Had the same sms, never been with Westpac as well.
