Get a missed call from this number. I call back immediately and receive the message that this number is disconnected.

Got a text from this number this morning: 'Your AV Membership payment made on 09/05/2015 was not successful. Please call 1300 366 141 to make a payment and ensure coverage.' Looked up 1300 366 141 to find it is apparently Ambulance Victoria. If it's for real they can contact me by email like usual, I'm very wary after checking the number here.

i got a message from this number telling me to go to a website.. 'Go.vic.gov.au' to update my details..

This is a legitimate service that many many different people/companies use. Unfortunately some are scammers.

I have one from my uni, one from a holiday apartment rental place I used, and one from Sydney City Toyota for my car service.
It's obvious that if you aren't expecting a text from something then it's probably spam.

In my case it was a legitimate number for some travel insurance I bought with one of the most highly rated insurers by Canstar and Choice- Southern Cross Travel Insurance

This is fake call

They clearly have hacked my car dealer's database, as they have contacted me via SMS using this number twice in 2014, after my car has been in for repairs. Both times they have said they 'tried calling but I missed you' (with no missed calls on my phone) and asked for a reply of 'Y' or 'N' as to whether I was satisfied with the service I received.

Receive a text saying my rent was 4 days over and to pay $194.40?
Glad I found this.. Besides living with my in-laws and no rent here. Strange though.

I would say it is a free online bulk messenger service that people /companies can use to send bulk SMS to people. I have recieved a few from school and companies I have felt with.

I get txts from this number all the time to confirm appts I have made with 3 different providers. I've never had a problem in txting back or any unusual bills.

Received SMS saying "N/A" also! Looked up number and found all this. Glad I did before I replied asking who it was in case it was a friend or someone and not having their number saved in new phone!

Received a random text from this number. It just said N/A

Got a msg from Ray White Yeppoon about an inspection tomorrow. Don't live in Yeppoon and not buying there. Used a reputable company name, bit of a worry there.
