Text message from 0447 100 186:
*IMPORTANT* your ANZ Internet Banking has been temporarily locked. To restore please visit [link] immediately.

I am not with ANZ so knew it was a scam straight away.

I got two random texts from this number around 1am, both texts had the same information which was a username and a password. Not sure for what.

"Access to your ANZ Online Banking has been restricted. Please follow the link to restore your account"

Not with ANZ....spam

This number (0447 100 186, 0447 100 186) is being used by a HEAVY DUTY CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE, currently pretending to be the ANZ Bank. They are attempting to fool people into handing over their personal and/or banking details. One of their activities is to extract from people, often by sending them an SMS with a link which looks kosher but is NOT), information which will allow the criminals to steal money directly from the individual's bank account.) Do not trust these people. NEVER CLICK ON ANY LINK they send! Do not answer. Do not ring back.

Keep texting me saying there is an issue with my ANZ account linking me to a scam site that requires all my details. Called ANZ, they dont recognise the number and there are no issues.

Text message with:

Needs to be reported to the police.
