I have 2 legitimate financial organisations using this number for messages and verification. Given all the comments here I would suggest it is a messaging service used by many organisations so you would have to treat each message on it's merits based on your services.

Got a text from this number saying, "Motorcycle Servicing" tried ringing back, said the number was turned off, how do they know I have a Bike ?

Message sounds possibly legitimate and sent to me in error, but after googling the number, will not call. Have heard of these scams where they get you to call a number and somehow bill you.

texted me saying that i have an appointment tomorrow
I called them back and told them to delete my number and its a wrong number i also asked if there was a Amber on the list and she said yes there was, because i have got repeated texts asking for an amber. and i have told them number of times to loose my number and they keep calling and messaging. she apparently has taken me off the list. but we will see. seems like someone is trying to find out all my different information. i have had text messages from health care centres, gym memberships, banks, all random services.

Time to get rid of this number i think. even though its a brand new number !!

This is a generic SMS engine, spammers and legit businesses use it. For me it is the server alert SMS.

NAB Scam

NAB scam, claimed my NAB account was frozen and need to unlock from GPS-nab.com
Use a link that resembles NAB netbank. Reported to scamwatch.

'Your NAB account has been temporarily frozen for unusual GPRS activity. Login from your device at : gprs-nab.com and follow the unlock procedure'.

I don't have an NAB account.
