Urgs text to fill out form via a link. When i rang was asian recording saying something about changing message

the link looks very fake but it is actually listed on the energyaustralia site so it should be legit, however it wouldn't let me log in anyway

Caller: SMS message

I contacted my energy provider a few days ago to get on a payment plan. Lo and behold I get a link to what maybe a scam (https://urgsmailbox.com/UrgsApplication) a day later, but not sure - it could be real. though the .com site is suspicious (usually these things has a .gov.au site name which are safe)

This I think is a scam. Genuine government SMSs with links should point to .*.gov.au sites, not a basic .com one (as in, not like https://urgsmailbox.com/UrgsApplication which looks very scammy).
I suspect it's an Asian scam center, or maybe one in India (though they are not as sophisticated). As always, call your utility directly on their main number FIRST, the see how to get the utility grant.
