Please confirm whether you authorized this transaction which we have declined: $4,866.65 to (business name & link) on 19/6. Reply 1 if YES or 2 if NO. Due to high volume of calls, please respond to SMS and we will get back to you.

Say they are ANZ but smelling a scam.

Caller: ANZ

I got the same message. Decided to call ANZ on their direct number.
This message was from them and not a scam. I recommend calling ANZ if you receive this as your card has been compromised and you need a new one.

Received a message from this number at 4am claiming to be ANZ. They claim they have blocked a suspicious transaction on my credit card from Ticketmaster. I assume it is a scam

Got a text message from this number claiming to be from ANZ warning me of a suspicious credit card transaction asking me to reply 1 if yes or 2 if no.
There is a matching "pending" transaction on my card, so they have my credit card number.
Scammers for sure.
