Carsales , asked a few questions re car , then asked for my number to call after she finishes work

Received a text file her “work colleagues” phone advising me due to blurry screen she couldnt see my pics and asked if I could email them to nswmrd @ gmail.com
I googled the email address and the number and bingo, here we are.
Deleted, blocked , reported

Gumtree, Calls themselves Dell . Claims Phone screen blurry, can't see pictures. Wants pictures sent to their email. nswmrd @ gmail.com

Going by Roy Versace with email address audhsm @ gmail.com - same story as others says cant see ad properly too blurry and then messaged off a workmates phone - then an email about paralysed wife/son going to uni and being able to of course pay full asking price sight unseen paypal/EFT the usual - stay safe. mobile used was 0439 639 823

Got a msg on Carsales and it just seemed suss, asking for phone and email straight away. Googled the number and saw above msgs. Lucky escape I think.

Same story as above, paralysed wife, kid a uni. He did manage to produce a drivers licence though which s pretty alarming for the real Roy!

Was using the number 0438 847 324 though this time.

Same experience as above, he's now using a new email audhsm @ gmail.com

Same as above. Scam through car sales. Asking for my phone number and email because he could see the pictures. I obliged. Then he made an offer very quickly and asked for my banking information to pay. I asked for his number and looked this up and confirms my suspicions that it was a scam.

Got a message via CarSales, asking to email interior pictures. Same story as others have commented. Avoid

Gumtree scammer who claims to be John the effing lowlife.

Reports are accurate as listed. Same phone/email, same back story. Never replies. Actually advised me to take down product and let other know its sold! I said I would only do that once full payment was received. Do not bother with this person. Can anyone explain the risk of providing a PayPal invoice? Im very nervous about this! :(

SCAMMING PIECE OF sh*t c*nt....APPARENTLY CALLED "JOHN"

This is a gumtree scammer! WARNING.....DO NOT REPLY OR CALL THEM AS THEY WILL SCAM YOU. They like your gumtree item, they want to buy it but are "out out town" So they ask to send money into your Paypal account. DONT DO IT!
This is the start of the elaborate way they fleece you of your money.
