Caller: Chemist Warehouse

Received a message saying “Your script is ready for collection at Chemist Warehouse (redacted). Do not reply.” Redacted was my local Chemist Warehouse. I had no scripts available for collection however a family member did that same day I received the message. She asked them if they had mistakenly sent me a message instead of her and they had no record of sending me anything in 8 months. Text did not contain any links nor phone numbers to call and confirmed by local store that they did not send it but very strange that it used my local store which is not a common/large Chemist Warehouse.

Received a text from this number saying my Sullivan & Nicolaides pathology bill is due. Looked legit, and I had recently had blood work done, but my phone flagged it as a scam and moved the message to blocked. After reading these comments I am glad I didn't respond. Dodgy!!!

Sent me this today (all uppercase): CHANGING DEFAULT WILL BE MET WITH IMMEDIATE TERMINATION. BUT NOT REALLY. STILL DO NOT CHANGE DEFAULT, SEARCH YOUR STORE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Clearly looking for a reply to work out what was meant. DO NOT RESPOND. They will then know your number is connected. JUST DELETE and move on.

Says it's Foxtel. Says my bill is overdue,but as my account is direct debit it simply can't be overdue. I've checked my account and nothing overdue. It's a scam. But they know all the details, name, amount of my bill and the last 3 numbers of my card. All very convincing.

Received text from 0439 603 528 (toll free 1300 735 476) telling me that I had a Pathology bill due. I phoned my doctor, who had sent an excision into a lab in Hobart for analysis five weeks earlier, and was told that I owed nothing. I also compared the phone numbers of the lab in Hobart with the numbers in the text message, and they did not match. BEWARE! Looks like a scam! I will not respond.

Seems to be an SMS service provider used by a range of different government departments as well as retailers like Bunnings.

It's legitimate, the number is Foxtel with confirmation about a Technician appointment.

Claims to be Foxtel and a payment is overdue it says Foxtel.com.au/contactus

I got an SMS said I have a pathology bill is overdue, call 1800 015 973 to discuss. It's a scam!!! But the scariest thing is, I do have a pathology bill is overdue !!! Almost believe it until I googled the number
