Caller: "SA Power Networks"

Text received saying the power would be back on in my area by 10.30pm. We have no power outage at my house, but according to the SA Power website the power is down on my street and a couple of others. So I guess it's not a scam after all.

Sent a message claiming to be a job company. Red Flags because they have their name instead of a number.

Very Dangerous , sending SMS as electricity distributor !!! but what they dont know that new phones does detect this potential frauds ..

Text received with a message to click on link for jobactive.gov.au regarding jobseeker wanting me to provide a snapshot of information.

I had previously received a message from Foxtel from this same number. Scam

Just an sms-- (shortly after centrelink called me to clarify info)

Told me I have an NBN appt on Monday but had already received a text from another number yesterday telling me the same thing???

Received a message about a activation code. no other details so I just deleted

I have received a text wanting to make appointment to attend my home for nbn connection. NBN has just arrived on my street but no information to say which firm the text was from, I am suspicious

this was from vline re train schedules.

Got a text informing me of a jobs fair with a legitimate link. I had previously received texts regarding appointments at a radiology clinic which I know 100% was legitimate. Going off what other people have said I suspect the text was sent by my job service provider using a messaging service that was also used by the radiology clinic.

Caller: A legitimate messaging service

One SMS from this number from Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation over 12 months ago, one from NBN Co. this morning regarding an appointment. Both legitimate.
