I received a text from Melbourne Pathology about an outstanding account. When I contacted them they confirmed it was a legitimate message (sent to the wrong number).
I have previously received a blood donation reminder from this number.
It seems to be used by a messaging service.

I have received two texts from this number. Both legitimate. One a car park booking, one a car service booking from completely separate companies in different areas. Must be a reminder/appt confirmation service for companies who subscribe to the service.

This came as a text to voice message on my landline, saying there is a planned outage tomorrow. I contacted Ausnet to confirm and this was genuine. They use that number to contact their customers.

That makes sense. I'm registered with Randstad & recently applied for a job through them. Today I got an SMS giving me details about a job and to reply "Yes" if I was interested, then someone would be in touch. Thanks for that, I've noted the landline and will call it tomorrow.
