Got SMS with a verification code. Do not have a parcel locker or parcel on the way so no idea

I received a text from this number today. Directing me to contact provider or the Department of Education, Skills and Employment on 1800 805 260. I looked up 1800 805 260 on this forum to find others had reported the number as a spammer.

Beacon Lighting SMS. It must be a number used to computer-generate text messages.

i called this number many times and it was said it is disconnected

from job provider about job fair coming up may be maxconnect

It is Australia Post's parcel delivery service so always relates to a currently active parcel delivery ie: that a parcel is due to be delivered, won't be delivered on time, claiming you weren't home when you were, stuff that's good, annoying or downright exasperating about Australia Post parcel deliveries.
