I got this scam message on my mobile phone today. “[my mobile number] Try that voice messenger app so we can talk http://matthewpalermo.com/cup/?E8uaBd8li4U072k-hJ” Omggg... they had my mobile number at start of message. I’m in Melbourne. Ever since using QR code due to Covid I’ve been getting these scams daily. Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they’ve got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles & landlines????

Caller: Received text, βVoicemail A.β Called & random said heβd been hacked & calling police on Monday. Received text, “Voicemail A” Quite stupidly, possibly, I called no. to clarify.” Gentleman with accent immediately snaps that his “phone had been hacked and that he had received calls all day for same thing and he’d be calling police on Monday to find out what was going on.” Something in passing of a lady accusing him of being some doctor? Or maybe, he was making a statement of being “a doctor”? Idk π€·π»βοΈ But as the conversation drew on, it appeared the speaking was being “dragged” out on the other end and to be honest, gut feels and then it was my youngest son listening on that said, “hang up Mum. I think it is a scam!” He being the “scammer” not the one scammed! Truly will be looking further into it myself, I have also been receiving other delivery texts, definitely don’t open but take a photo to date it & semi-file it encase, & delete delete immediately after. It would be lovely to know who the heck it was, whether I have been exposed to some bloody scammer spreading std mobiley! π¬π Technology!!! You want me people…grab a piece of paper and that plastic thing with ink in it and try that in your palm, put it in a big box with little slit and don’t fret, I’ll get back to you same way by the week’s end. The anticipation of a response that does actually means what it means and can’t be distorted or taken back. Better yet, get to sticks, light a fire and I’ll keep a look out for the puffs of distant coding! Safer this way and the little brain cells I do have left, will no longer go up in Eyre ππ Scammers, conartists, hackers, stickybeaks, liars, cheats… Once we left our back doors unlocked and now the trusting now have oCD, checking once, thrice…eleven times did I lock the doors and close windows before even leaving the house! Paranoid? Melodramatic? Over dramatic? Sadly NO! Seen it. Experienced it more than once. Stop standing on your tippy toes, wanting to look at what’s hanging on my clothesline! Go wash your clothes, they stink for miles, and get your own Clothesline…OR get the balls to approach them and ask to use their clothesline if you need it. I would like that more than having to question every person that comes & goes in my very small circle. Quality over quantity. Take me back to the more simpler times! But first… 0438 382 026 Who was it? And gut says, and son, π it ain’t right! Something just ain’t sitting right. To be cont. Bring back corporal punishment I honestly say, “steal another man’s bread!” with fazing that while you eat, they were actually going to starve that night and die and action and consequence unravels. Chop their damn Slippery fingers off! Wont be taking something that isn’t there’s again, well without asking. Last time he/she had obviously left their balls in someone else’s purse! The second time, they couldn’t ask because their carrying their balls and the things they took all in their mouth because they have no hands to carry anything! Stupid still does! Says when we don’t even have “neighbourhood watch” stickers on mailboxes and picket fences anymore! No desperation will ever entitle you to take what isn’t yours, ultimately from another who you either feel less than and tell yourself they wouldn’t miss it or who have an entitled sense of self or just cold and bitter on the world more fortunate! You don’t know if you don’t ask, but I’ll happily kick their arse if no one else will. I’d rather eat crumbs with bums, than steak with snakes! And sh*t, I know it’s crumbs, that steak could be anything else. π Passionate person, heart on my sleeve, and rambles over! π€ βοΈ
