Caller: People's Choice CU

Don't listen to these other morons - in my wife's case, this was legit, and her card was correctly blocked from a scam transaction. If you're ever in doubt, go to the official company's web page, pull the fraud hotline number and call them for confirmation. Don't just assume it's a hoax and blacklist the number.

Text received about suspicious activity on my card and included last four digits of card and call a fraud number for my bank which was also correct name. Obvious scam

Received text pretending to be from People’s Choice with fake links & incorrect number for their ‘fraud centre’

Scammer who tried hacked bank account. The bank lock accounts immediately.

Caller: Beyond Bank

This is a legit number, it's the Beyond Bank fraud team. The text message asks you to contact them on 1300 705 750, I'm always suspicious of these texts, so called the Banks main 13 xx xx number instead and they confirmed that this was indeed their fraud team. I was transferred through to them and was advised that my card had potentially been compromised, so they had text asking me to call and verify if the transaction was made by me or confirm if it was an attempted fraudulent transaction. Thankfully no money was withdrawn and the card was cancelled and replaced.

Similar to above. Said transaction for $0.00 attempted. account blocked, checked, and unblocked. If unaware of this transaction contact "mybank" (correct name) Fraud Department. "mybank" scam and fraud number is 13xxxx.
