Back again with an update on the Woolworths text messages from: 0437 079 494. I have contacted Woolworths and asked them whether it was a scam, and they have assured me that this is legitimate. This number is linked to Woolworths Rewards and not a scam.

I have received numerous text messages from this number saying that it was woolworths. If you get anything by this number just take a screenshot and e-mail it to hoax @ woolworths.com.au or contact them via social media to question the legitimacy of the text. I have contacted them regarding this, when i hear something i will update

I got a text saying that I had earned an entry into the draw for a Comm Games Holiday - thought it seemed dodgy, but it does appear to be legit from Wooloworths. It said to click on a link to update my email address - which I havent done as they have the correct address for me.
It would just be good if the text actually through as being from Woolworths and was personalised, rather than just showing as this random number, as I think this is what makes us all suspicious.

Looks very suspicious to me. I never gave my number to them so why should I opt out of something I never opted in to:

Why would I think the txt msg was genuine as I always receive correspondence from woolworths rewards via my email address. There is also a scam apparently from woolworths rewards to say you have won a $500 gift card in their customer of the month promotion....if only that was genuine.
