Caller: At 11:06 AM Tue 08 Nov 22 - Text message allegedly from Westpac Correctly showed last 4 numbers of my Westpac credit card advising minimum payment of $10 due 14 Nov 2022 (date underscored - possible link). If Card Autopay set up payment will be debited. I don't have that facility. And have never had a Westpac SMS payment reminder. Defintely a scam encouraging me to click on date.

Received SMS from this number purporting to issue a SMS code to access an account. Message also advises to call 1300 number if message is unexpected. Did not click or call any numbers.

Text msg from a disconnected number referencing Westpac Bank. - correctly identifying the last 4 digits of my Credit Card, minimum amount due this month and by date - referenced “ if you have card autopay autopay payment will be debited” - I have not set up card autopay and I have already made to substantial payments this month. - Either a sophisticated scammer or Westpac has steeped to new lows of annoyance and incompetence.

Their text message said: "Linkt: You have an toll notice on 06/01/2023 which has been unpaid over 30 days. https://etag.ink/3RNBXnj" No way was I going to click on this link. The fact they said 'you have AN toll notice' shows me they don't have English as their first language.

I just got a similar message that said it was related to Westpac credit card payment. The SIM card I am using is a new one, and I do not even know the new SIM card number. PLUS, I do not have a Westpac credit card! I think it is 100% a scam.
