I got same as above , the scammers use computers to text millions , often get your name from websites etc .
They know tens off thousands get tested everyday so many will assume this is legit .

January 8 2022 - Received the following message at 4.20am!

Hi (My name)
Your Test Registration URN (numbers) has expired. You can complete a new form at https://testtracker.covid19.dhhs.vic.gov.au/citizen-prefill.
There is no such thing.
Be wary.

Caller: COVID-19 drive through testing site VIC.

Got tested this morning, soon as I was driving out I received the text from this number:
Thank you for getting tested today. For information on what to do after you've been tested, click here https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/getting-your-results-covid-19

The tester told me I would get a test so this number is 100% legit.

Hubby & I both got this msg. It has our name in each of our messages. Not going to open it.

Absolutely a SCAM! These bastards will try anything to get your details, even putting up reports to legitimise their work.

I went through a the testing site at La Tribe Uni today, 18/08/2021. After the procedure, I received the message, Thank you for getting tested today. For information on what to do after you've been tested, click here https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/getting-your-results-covid-19.
My partner who was with me and had the test as well, didn't receive the message on her mobile phone. The lass that took the swab from my partner was a different girl to the one that did my swab. I suspect the girl that looked after my partner, didn't hear all the numbers, and wrote the wrong mobile number down and that was why she didn't receive the message that I got. Her message probably ended up in someone else's phone like the people that wrote above. To me, the number was genuine and legit, but was sent to the wrong person by mistake.

I’ve had my shots through a local doctor so I’m not expecting any txts.

But I didn't! Either they wrote the wrong number down or it's a scam. Not prepared to press the link to the supposed dhhs site.

Your COVID-19 pre-filled information is submitted successfully and they advise a PIN (8 digits) and tell you to keep it safe and present to staff when you do your test.
