A response from personal experience NOT necessary specific to the above ph number. Scammers from O/S has HIJACK my mobile No and been making random ph calls via Internet (VIOP System) Nationwide to landlines and mobiles. The Scammers displayed my ph No as the Caller ID. It is now over 8 days, the first 2 days, it was horrible... I was receiving calls every 10 seconds from people who missed the calls. Telstra put a program to block the VOIP calls, unfortunately they are still coming!!!! In addition, I noted my mobile No. has been reported in this Site as scammer by someone.

Received a call from this mobile number and I answered, Hello, this is XXXXX speaking, then the caller / number hung up. I phoned the number straight back and got a recording saying that OpTUS advises that the number has been disconnected. Not cool.

This is the latest nuisance call. I have just had second call today on home phone.
I checked number out on mobile to have a message from Optus that the number
is disconnected so its obviously some setup through a computer. Don't answer it
at anytime. Reverse Australia had no results. I will be reporting this to Do Not Call Register as they investigate.
