I bought a book on amazon today, the same afternoon I received a text from this number saying I have paid $2499.99 on amazon for a fridge and to call a number.

Westpac says i will not be able to use my account until i activate a new web security system from http://.bit.ly/20CVQBg. Definite scam, as I don't have an account with Westpac'.

No first name this time but messanger knew I had been researching a topic - crypto currencies. Used that topic to get me to click on a link. I didn't but what's scary is 'their' information is getting better - listening almost. I had another message minutes after calling the local council re regarding an parking issue and they have responded with a scam message. "Listening" is what seems to be happening.

I don't have any parcels in transit...

Definitely a scam.

SCAM. Number still being used. Get tough Government and make reporting and banning of these harmful numbers easy. Costing Australia greatly with defraud of vulnerable and gullible. I know our mobile numbers are sold in batches to overseas sellers and hard to control but work out something telcos can do and stop it!

I am very selective about giving out my name...they have bought a list from a credible company to use for fraudulent scams! Grrrrr. This should be a forbidden practice to sell my number.

Just started to get spam SMS from this number.
