Caller: App company

She knew my name and claimed that I contacted them a year ago asking how to make money working on the internet. I did not. What company calls from a mobile that when you call them back it says it disconnected.

Caller: Scuzzelbutt ?

Call from an unknown scam about Trading. Blocked the caller. But soon discovered the person on Telegram under my contacts. The person claiming to be male, divorced, motorcycle accident in 95, 2 adult children, 62 years old, Australia. User name is scuzzelbutt. How creepy!

they hung up as soon as i picked up, possiblt a robot dialing scam of some sort

Cold-called me claiming we'd spoken about a 'Trading App.' six months ago, yeah-nah.
I tried to politely decline twice but after her third attempt I had to explain that I was trying to discreetly decline & had to say Good-bye.
Yeah-nah, I know these people are only paid pittance commission per sale, so I don't want to cause them any grief.

Hung up without saying anything after I answered call

Rang me and said that a coworker spoke to me about a year ago. He was asking if I remember having a conversation about trading currencies or something. I said no sorry and then they hung up.

Scam and when you say not interested they get nasty

Had a call similar to the other commenters here, same number. Knew my name, but it/they hung up right away. I tried to call back and it said it was disconnected, really weird. Definitely a scam I would say.

Woman claiming I had shown interest a few months ago in trading/making money. (I hadn't)

Asked if I wanted to make money trying their trading app.

I said I couldn't remember being interested and that I have mental health issues, and trying to trade would be negative for my mental health. Said I have no experience and wouldn't like it.

She said that she would trade for me, so it wouldn't cause mental stress

Sounds like a scam and preying on people

When I called the number back it said it had been disconnected

I answered but they just hang up. Tried to call back but they rejected the call. They now ring me everyday but i've blacklisted them (oppo phone feature) so only get a notification after the fact.

Leaving missed calls or immediate hangup. I got lots of Chinese language robocalls last week. Probably same people just trying it on...

Claimed I spoke to someone from their company a year ago (highly unlikely) about participating in a trading program. Hung up on them.

They said I’m calling back, it’s F B E. I hanged up. I have know idea who they are.
