Caller: Aus post

I received a text message from this number saying my package had failed to be delivered due to error and to click a link to reschedule. It all looked surprisingly legitimate. The website was "auspost-update.com".

This is a Bendigo Bank phishing scam. It said that a new device is registered to my account. Don’t click on the link.

"A payment of $X will be deducted from your account. To stop, click on this uRL...""

Scam number, claiming to have lost his phone and wanting me to message another number -- obviously scam number too -- 0485 860 473

Got a message saying "mum, I've just broken my phone could you please message my new number on WhatsApp it's urgent 0485 860 214 x". I'm no mum. Replied "f*ck off". After about an hour I got 3 calls in rapid succession from a payphone in Guyra NSW (02) 6779 1307 (read separate report for that number if you're interested), most likely connected to this scam

Received the same text from four different numbers within two minutes.

Scam text saying that a Samsung device in Perth was set up under a name that was not mine. Directed me to another number to ‘fix’ this issue if I did not recognise the name or location.

The text looked quite convincing but there were a few grammatical errors and knowing it has a history of scamming people, it is highly likely this is a scam.

Says it's from Australia Post and they missed me and supplied a link to reschedule my delivery. This was sent on a public holiday, scam. Auspost always leaves a calling card if no one is home and they don't deliver on a public holiday

message saying my delivery with DHL has been delayed and I should click on the link to reschedule. Obviously a scam. blocked number and deleted text.

Got an SMS from these scammers claiming to be from Australia Post.
They said:
"AusPost: We attempted to deliver your parcel but our courier missed you. To reschedule, please visit AusPostParcelInfo.com"

SMS advising of a ANZ verification code. Included web address is didn't request the code. I don't have ANZ anything, I did not click the link. Sus!

Aramex parcel redelivery scam. 'Aramex: We attempted to deliver your parcel however no one was available at the door. Please visit: www.aramex-delivery-au[dot]com to book a redelivery'. Did not click the link, blocked the number. do not click any links from this number.
