Received an sms saying they had a UPS package for me but that I have to pay a $2 customs charge before it can be paid. No company name or other identifying marks. Very suspicious, almost certainly a scam. Either this persons number was spoofed or they should be door knocked by authorities for scamming via mobiles
If they are a victim they should seek assistance from legal authorities to track down the thieves and compensate for damages

the message is too vague, because the sender doesn't know what bank I had. All those scam is try to get you worried.
Make sure you never click those links.

Hi...we received your form...dodgy link Caller: 0434 243 228
web link is from bnd.life/au6/?n=159878897
Knows my name (and correct spelling) and suburb. Never entered a comp (apparently I came in 3rd place - always a bridesmaid I guess!) but concerning that they have that info. Not risking following the link. A cursory google check on the website goes to vases - no way it's genuine.
Recommend to future recipients to block and ignore.

Very sneaky, some info was true as I did purchase something in 2020 and new what suburb I lived in. Most likely scam though 🤷🏼♀️
Caller: Text message received
Text said it was from JB (Hi-fi bit that part wasn't in the text) saying I'd been entered into a competition due to a purchase I'd made and there was a link to see my prize. I have no intention of clicking the link so if it's legit, I miss a prize but if not, I won't have my phone scanned and get a virus.
