Deleted, blocked and cleared the safari cache as well … :(

I have received so many TEXTES from this number, never have down loaded their app( know it’s a Scam)
But don’t know how to BLOCK the number as it is a message not a phone call

SMS saying, 'Why was my package not delivered?', with a link in the message. I live in the middle of nowhere and haven't sent anything to anyone. I didn't get any scam messages or calls until I had to start checking into places for "car-owner vie rust". I had to do it electronically yesterday at a charity I work for because they don't have on-paper sign in and now, suddenly, yet another message appears on my phone. Not clicking the link. I seldom get them and it's only after having had to do electronic check-in.
