Caller: Scammer

I was called by this number earlier by an indian lady (took a while for her to speak after I picked up, suggesting it may have been [re]diverted elsewhere) and she advised she was calling from Visa Mastercard security team and that a payment of $400 and $800 had been charged to Amazon and Ebay respectively and was it me. She knew my first and last name and an address attributed to myself, in spite of it being c8 years old/ out of date. She did not ask for my pin however when I asked her the card number she asked me to confirm the last 8 digits. I said its strange as I dont have a Visa/ Mastercard, havent lived at the address for 8 years and if you are calling me from the "Visa/ Mastercard Security team" then why are you calling on a mobile? She seemed persistent and pushed back when I said is this a scam/ I am calling the police that she didnt ask for my pin or security details. She also said they will send a text to get me through security if needed but I smelled BS straight away. No one from Mastercard/ Visa is calling on a mobile its BS. Please be careful out there as this person was very convincing to a point (name, address, albeit old was correct etc) so I can see how less streetwise people might fall prey.
