Caller: Claims to be “PayPal”

Received a call from an Asian woman trying to speak with an American accent in his morning claiming to be from PayPal. When I asked her why PayPal would be calling me she said she couldn’t tell me that. I told her to stop right there and hung up on her. Promptly blocked the number as PayPal would only email not call you.

Didn't answer the phone when it rung. They left a voicemail claiming to be ARL Collect Pty Ltd (also received a text from a similar number a few days ago), both in the text and voicmail they wanted me to call a 1300 number for some sort of 'important business matter'... I have no outstanding debts, this is definitely a scam number, AVOID AND BLOCK!

Just wanted to confirm it defiantly is PayPal, or rather the company the use for the outstanding debts or collections.
I had an overdrawn account with PayPal and a few months later these guys turned up with it for the exact amount.

I returned a call from this number 0434 058 449 but no one answered the call

Called back, asked what they are from. They try to change the subject and try get your details? I have no debts
They didn’t even know my name but they want random money. Bluddy scammers

I rang the number back. A lady just kept saying hello. She didnt say who I had reached.
After confirming my number and name she said the matter was to do with PayPal. Oddly, I spoke with PayPal yesterday and the matter is resolved. The lady still pressed for my email. I told her I don't really want to discuss it further as I have pneumonia. She keeps pushing for more of my time and more personal details.. I did hang up.

Yes same thing happened to me. I have various similar numbers that have called and messaged me claiming to be ARL Collect Pty Ltd. I have never answered but the messages they send me have been asking to contact them about an important business matter before its escalated. I also have no debt with anyone so have been blocking the numbers as they come in

Anita from paypal. Has not only rang my mobile but also my mother's home phone. She refused to tell me any details other then it was a serious matter involving me. And demanding I give her my details. I'm getting phones from them every other day.

Scam call from someone by the name Greg (with strong Indian accent) who purports to be from ARL limited.

Asian lady saying she was from PayPal just hung up and blocked the number

Called saying from Paypal - asked her to confirm with an email form her. She asked for my email address so she could email me... WTF

I spent over 20 minutes on the phone trying to get their actual details - not of the supposed "debit" and between every breath "Micheal" (Indian) wanted my full ID that could be used illegally.
