This number (0433 729 823) belongs to Afomia, a young lady that is potentially in her early to mid 20s. She and her friend, Chelsea (0452 541 678) strike a conversation with me at Melbourne Central. They claim that they are on 'social media detox' and wants to connect with people in real life. I was amazed that these young ladies were brave to approach stranger to have real life connection. After exchanging number with Afomia, she persistently messaged daily and wanting to have dinner in the evening. On the hand, Chelsea (who I did not share my number with) have tried to message the next day to say hello which I have ignored, but have also cold-calling while I am at work. Regardless, after various search of information, I found out their tactics to be consistent with recruitment style of Shincheonji church cult. The recruitement activity seems to be on the spike in busy area like Melbourne Central and transport hub and they work in pairs.
