This is definitely a marketing call, they asked for my name and when I responded they hanged up. And I know this is a scam caller as well.

asked to speak to my daughter and when I said I was her father they hung up. tried to call back and phone was off.

Yes - I had the same experience. Heavily accented male asking to speak with my son (used his first and last name when asking). When I asked who he was, he very quickly hung up. I have blocked this number on my phone.

Man ( no name ) said I was entitled to government money to support my business from home. Pfft I'm retired and hung up on him after trying to understand his language.

Don't answer they want your bank details

They asked my name and stated that I was interested in a home based business.
I responded that I was not interested in a home based business and she said I had expressed interest.

I again insisted that I wasn't interested and asked where they got my number from and they hung up.
