Advised they wanted to talk to me about government money available to taxpayers who were working and owned their own home.
The caller wouldn't expand on where they had got my number from other than to say they buy lists from aggregator. Asked if I had ever given my phone number when I entered a competition. I asked that I would be removed from their call list but wasn't given an answer. I advised the caller I did not wish to know of the schemes details and thanked the caller. I was cut off before I could hang up

I called back number 0432 687 084 reached voice mail for Living Advantage.

I missed the call but I was expecting a call about some tiles I ordered so I rang back. The number is disconnected so I’ll block it.

Potential fraud

Caller: Text message about a package delivery

I received a text message "You_zoa have (1) (6uc)package pending and ready:" Then a link - which I did not do - its a trap. This is one of about 5 such messages from various numbers about packages I have received lately. And I am not expecting any. I have blocked the phone numbers involved and reported the messages to scamwatch. I hope everyone who reads this watches out for these text messages and reports to scamwatch and BLOCK the numbers! Let you family and friends know too - especially those who are older and might not twig that its a scam. Stay safe everyone!

Googled my insurance company and this number was given to send text,turns out it’s not my insurance company.beware

Caller: No answer, said 'hello' loud and clear, twice

Called back from my work phone and my phone message was 'this call is not authorised', 'forbidden'. Now that is suss!

So annoyed this needs to stop. I hope us putting all these complaints help to stop people calling personal numbers and force to check out eligibility for tax returns.

Called from landline and number was unavailable and message said to call back later.

A male called my mum with this number claiming he worked for the government and was wanting to see if she was eligible for tax savings. Because my mums English isn’t too good she handed me the phone confused and the man over the phone said “ah f*ck” and proceeded to hang up the call. Obviously a scam call.
