Caller: "Frank Walsh" Possible Gumtree scammer. I had one wheel with a tyre on it advertised. This guy apparently being on gumtree "Since 2018" but with no history sends the Gumtree automated message twice. Then sends the message, "Hi are your tyres still available and would you consider $450 for them? Frank 0431 380 192 "
This type of message reeks of a scammer, as they often don't even read the ad properly, such as in this case where I don't have "tyres" advertised, it's a single wheel with a tyre! So people interested in this ad would want the valuable wheel, not "tyres"! Thanks Reverse Australia.
