Caller: Indian lady accent

Trying to get me to turn on computer saying I have been hacked. Very persistent even after telling them I believed they are scammers. Avoid and report this caller

Caller: Said it was for Windows for my ciomputer

I tried calling the number and it said "this number is not accepting calls at this moment." But my phone also flagged it as 'suspected scam!'
At least they're not using someone else's number.

Caller: Said it was about Windows on my computer.

First call I silenced. They called straight back and I answered. He started talking and asked him to repeat, so he spoke deliberately slowly.
He said it was about Windows on my computer.
I said I don't have a computer and please don't call me again.
So he called another 3 times. 1 I answered and hung up straight away. 2 I ignored. So 5 times in total.
Then I just took it off the hook for an hour.
It was borderline harassment. Problem is if you report them, it's probably somebody else's number they have hacked into.

Caller: 0431 112 042

Called on 6/2/25. The Indian woman was aggressive and argumentative. She tried to tell me that my computer had been hacked. I replied 'Prove it ! Tell me my IP addres !". She then read out a random IP address, to which I asked "Is this a leased IP or not?' She started abusing me, to which I said that this call was being recorded and that if she continued she would be liable for imprisonment under the Australian Telecommunications Act whenI forward it to the AFP. She then yelled even louder, so I told her to be quiet and use her energy to get a real job or she would be locked up.

I then reported the number to OPTUS as a number which was being used for criminal activity (this is important as it puts the onus on OPTUS, not the call recipient). I then lodged an incident report with the Australian Signals Directorate (https://www.cyber.gov.au/report-and-recover/report) who handle criminal cyber crime. I think she is now SUNK !

Caller: Indian Accent Lady

Caller said she was from Windows Security & that my computer has been hacked. i told her piss off and hung up, called back and said why did i hang up. i said i can hear the call centre bugger off hung up again. CALLED A 3rd time! i told her to *#@k off and hung up finally stopped calling

Indian women called supposedly Windows, I hung up she called back immediately I called her a scammer and said stop calling she said no. I hung up she called back calling me illiterate ignorant stupid etc told her to eff off and put phone down until she ended call.

Caller said she was from Windows Security & that my computer has been hacked. I told her I'd contact Windows Security myself & she said there was no such thing?? I hung up. She called back and said she was locking my computer & reporting ME for letting hackers use my identity in fraudulent activities. I hung up.

Told us that our laptop was broken then we hang up, but she called back and verbally abused for hanging up on her then decided to call back

Caller: Scammers

Tried to say my computer was hacked and for me to get in front of the computer. I played along and she asked me to say what key was next to the ctrl key, I made it up and after a few keys she gave up. Called me an idiot and hung up lol. Honestly the level of scam calls a day is out of control

have been phoned several several times , missed call, no message left. Returned call no answer. Weird, no talking.......
