Got a text message to call X-ray services. Which I did and we were a confused as they didn’t try to contact me. However I came to check online and saw that this same number 0429 703 715 has been messaging others for different reasons. Don’t trust the number!

Purports to be from Thompson Optical - one of many text messages with this content from multiple mobile telephone numbers.

Txt msg saying issue with RTBU membership direct debit .. Scam

Didn't get a call from this number but I have a confirmation SMS from this number. Both from different companies (completely not related) but both bookings I did actually make and not asking me to click anything. They were confirming my bookings. Make what you will of it #shrug

From the comments above it appears this number has been spoofed. Getting text messages with a phone number 1300 078 662 - to call back for Solar Installation.

Calling the 1300 number sounds like an overseas number even though the address comes up as Sydney.

They somehow knew my name and sent me a link with the message "no code needed xx" and an opt out message at the bottom

Said they were from WWF and couldn't process my recent payment. Never had a text from WWF before. Will block and report them

Apparently asking me if I wanted to participate in a research study about flu vaccinations.

Said they have registered an ABN number for me.

Apparently from Zayn about hair colouring well they now blocked and reported for spam
