Just got 3 messages in succession knowing my first name (not at all at ease with this) and introducing themselves as Kelsey from Guide dogs. Very polite, too friendly, and I feel it's the beginning of an elaborate grooming scam.
First message: "We have not spoken before but I wanted to connect and send you a short video from my colleague, Ryan, about our work and how we support Australians living with low vision and blindness." - I ignored it and the attached link.
One and a half hours later Second message came: "Later this week we'll be running a short survey over SMS & we'd love to get some quick feedback from you, as people like you help shape our plans for the future"...... - People like me? Really think this is a scam now....
3rd message 15 minutes later: "Thanks so much in advance I'll be in touch. Dog emoji and yellow heart emoji Kelsey." .... - Going to block this pest as I don't think they in for the long haul scam groom and aren't going away.

I got this too but from "Kelsey from Guide Dogs" who wants to send a video "from her colleague Ryan". Don't know how they know my first name? If it is a genuine SMS from the Guide Dogs, seems very unprofessional. Number blocked.

Potential fraud. Refused to idendity who they are, even when I informed them "identify yourselves or be reported to the AFP".

DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!

Same as above comments. Person knew my name and was quite pushy about doing the survey.
My mum would donate to the guide dogs and would definitely have been conned by this A-hole.
I tried calling this number when they sent pushy emails about answering the third question, but they did not answer.
After not being bothered for 2 months they are now back asking me to click on the link and make a donation to the guide dogs for christmas.
I sent an email and asked for there bank account details and have heard nothing back surprisingly...

Yes, I keep getting this too from "Fiona at Guide Dogs", they know my first name...who the hell conducts 'research' via sms? Why wouldn't you email me with a survey instead of sending through questions one at a time? Who has time for that? I don't even want to reply in case it puts me on some list that connects names with numbers in order to better scam people in future.

I have a series of messages over several days claiming to be Guide Dogs and to watch a video and give feedback. I'm sure if l did this survey it would come back to bite me. Don't like this method of contact.
They did use my correct name.
Stay clear of this or any other like it.

Sent a link that I'm not opening.
Think probably a scam.
